RaceMe Token ($RACE) Utility

The RaceMe token ($RACE) is the fuel value to the whole platform. While RaceMe crowdfunding and marketplace will offer both RaceMe tokens and classic payment options, all transactions will ultimately be executed using $RACE. All DragRaces, winnings, DRM purchases, and item trades are settled in $RACE.

Game mechanics and passive yield on $RACE

RaceMe leverages smart contract technology to offer players a fun and unique way to generate in-game yield using the $RACE token. Savvy players of the game - be they fast learners, veteran gamers and race engineering enthusiasts - will be able to structure their NFT DRM and manage their race participation in order to generate a passive yield. In-game stakers will also earn special air-drop NFTs and $RACE tokens from the $RACE treasury.

10% of every transaction using $RACE on the platform will be moved into a long-term staking pool and released back to players at a rate proportional to the number of active players.

DeFi and passive yield on $RACE

Medium and long-term holders of crypto assets are looking increasingly towards the offering of DeFi protocols to earn passive yield on their tokens. The $RACE token will be issued using the ERC-20 Token Standard, allowing it to be integratable with a wide range of DeFi protocols on which $RACE holders will have the opportunity to earn passive yield. These may include Automated Market Makers (AMMs) such as Uniswap and Bancor, where $RACE holders can provide liquidity to the token and generate revenue from swap fees, and auto-compounders such as Yearn and Yield Yak, which allow holders to provide collateralized loans to the token.
