# Overview

Welcome! This is where you will find all the information you hope to learn about RaceMe.

The history of automobiles and motorcycles being used for drag racing is nearly as long as the history of motorised vehicles themselves, and has ranged from illegal street racing to fully regulated motorsport events.

RaceMe is a blockchain-based Metarace engineering simulator that unites millions of car enthusiasts in a community where you can buy, build and customise NFT DragRacing Machines (DRMs) and compete with other MetaRacers for RaceMe ($RACE) tokens.

RaceMe will allow users from all over the globe to battle it out in the purest form of Drag Racing. With a range of vehicles from 1 to 6 wheels, there will literally be something for everyone to own, customise and trade. RaceMe will bring the excitement, adrenaline and bragging rights of real-world Drag Racing to the fingertips of all of our users.

This whitepaper will provide an overview of the history of video gaming and its intersection with blockchain technology and the global automotive aftermarket. It will then detail the RaceMe platform, provide a technical summary, and introduce $RACE tokenomics and the RaceMe business model.
